Beechwood; 77 x 80.5 x 52 cm.
Central Europe (Vienna?), 1st quarter of the 20th century.
With a decorative base of bent rods. The table top approximates an oval, straight on the sides, rounded on the short sides, profiled on the edge, supported on a turned shaft, framed by sigmoid bent rods, placed on four channel-shaped legs with washers.
The table was made in a bentwood furniture factory, with an artistically made footrest, showing the possibilities of bending - shaping wooden rods. Similar furniture was treated, as decorative objects.
