Central Europe (Vienna?), 1st quarter of the 20th century.

The upholstery material is light, decorated with floral motifs. Armchairs after a general restoration performed in Vienna.
The furniture is based on an extremely popular and having many variations armchair pattern designed by Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956), a leading Austrian designer of the Art Nouveau period. This pattern was made in many bentwood furniture factories, including Thonet and the Kohn brothers.
