Ćmielów - Porcelany i Wyrobów Ceramicznych Factory, designed by Tadeusz Szafran (1886-1955) circa 1930, postwar implementation.
On a pedestal with a circular base is Master Twardowski in a kontusz, riding a rooster. The author of the model - Tadeusz Szafran, is a recognized ceramic artist, pedagogue and technologist, professor of the State School of Artistic Industry in Cracow since 1922. In the interwar period he cooperated with the Ćmielów factory, in 1922-33 with the Chodzież factory (as technical chief); after WWII he was associated with Bolesławiec.
