Russia, 18th / 19th century.
In the upper zone - the Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove, against a background of a radiant star - between images of the Mother of God with the Child - Hodegetria - and Christ Pantocrator with an open Book. In the lower zone the Council of Saints - seven standing figures.
The cover is of tribulated silver, with a bordure decorated with a motif of strands of vine and acanthus.
