in the middle of the painting, facing each other, standing figures of St. St. Nicholas and the God-fearing youngster Artemius Wierkolski; between them a flowered bush; above them in clouds the Holy Trinity of the Old Testament; the cover is repoussed, with a bordure separated by strips of pearls and flowers decorated with a motif of vases, flowered branches and festoons; in the upper part of the bordure - above the heads of the saints - oval rope cartouches, framed by acanthus branches, with explanatory inscriptions in Cyrillic; at the bottom, on the cover, the Moscow test mark with the date "1783";
tempera on board; on the back 2 grooves - remnants of claws, and numerous engraved Cyrillic inscriptions, also on one of the side edges; repoussed silver; 32 x 27 x 4.3 cm.
