Figures of two holy nuns in draped robes and maforions on their heads; both holding crosses and rosaries; engraved explanatory Cyrillic inscriptions at top. St. Euphrosinia - princess of Polotsk (ca. 1101/4 - 1173) - especially venerated in Belarus. St. Elizabeth the Miracle-working monk lived in the 5th century, was Ihumen of St. George's Monastery in Constantinople.
Cover repoussed in silver plate; bordure with laurel leaf motif; stylized flowers in the corners.
