Crucifix - bronze, chiseled cast, set into center of board; 31.3 x 26.3 x 2.3 cm.
Russia, 19th century.
In the center of the crucifix-image - a cross with 3 beams, with the figure of the tormented Jesus; at the top God the Father in the clouds, below the Holy Spirit - the Dove, on the sides angels holding the robes of Christ. At the bottom marked tomb of Adam - skull and tibias. In the painting part of the picture - on the left standing three Marie, on the right St. John, Alexander and Joseph of Arimathea. In the upper quarters - scenes of the Deposition from the Cross and the Entombment. Bordiura with braid motif and rosettes in the corners.
