A pair of armchairs in the style of Louis Philippe

Wood; 109 x 65 x 57 cm.
Central Europe, 2nd half of 19th century.
With wavy and profiled frame elements, upholstered, with cartouche-shaped backrests, seats slightly rounded at the sides and straight at the front, with soft armrests, supported on S-shaped legs ending in rollers. Backrests widening towards the top, rounded at the bottom, wavy at the sides, finished with a decorative double frame, crowned with a crotch with relief flowers.
