Light faience (so-called faience nouvelle), underglaze cobalt;
Lead glaze with craquelure, vertical surface cracks in glaze along two miniatures;

Signed in green print: closed 2-part crown set on signboard with inscription NIMY, above in semicircle: MANUFACTURE IMPERIALE ET ROYALE, below signboard: FABRICATION BELGE/ MADE IN BELGIUM
Belgium, Nimy, 20th century. (1898-1921).
Cylindrical vase with three longitudinal reserves around the body: with a landscape by the water with boats (two) and a figure of a Dutch woman standing by the water , with three boats (one); the scenes separated by plastic stems ending under the edge with thistle leaves spread on two sides and convex leafy stems; at the base of each miniature and above it - a tripartite relief motif of thistle flowers.
