Oval plaque with colorful miniature - rural scene in fete champetre type in landscape with architecture and bridge. Sitting by the water is a young man with a fishing rod and a girl in a muslin handkerchief; next to her stands a barefoot gardener with a basket of vegetables and an oval basket of grapes leaning against her hip. At the feet of the young man a water bulb and nets(?) thrown on the ground, a fish pick-up is leaning against a tree branch on the left. Poster in oval velvet frame and rectangular bipartite frame, with inner oval cut, with rocaillas and marquetry of outer edges of frame.
A miniature of good workmanship, probably according to a painting or graphic original from the 18th century (in the style of François Boucher [1703-1770] or Francesco Zuccarelli [1702-1788]?).
