The figure of a scholar in a lavish, ornate robe, looking through a telescope, against a background of a staircase to a building, with a garden landscape all around. Next to the astrologer - a globe standing on a tripod, under it spread scrolls of papers.
On the upper edge of the cloth - attached wooden hanging strip.
Preservation condition: traces of stains in the upper part, light rubbing of the surface.
