In the foreground, a figure of a stonemason with a hammer in hand, repairing a wall on a riverfront; next to the worker, a toolbox and a white dog guarding it. In the background, a bridge; on the left, a chestnut tree with a lush crown. In the background, buildings among the trees and a man riding a horse and a dog barking at him. In the lower right corner of the fabric near a small wooden bridge - signature: "Gobelin Manufactur / München". Pastel color scheme, with predominance of beige, various shades of brown, green, rust and burgundy red, white, yellow and blue.
