An element of Jewish prayer attire: a decorative belt sewn onto the upper edge of a tallit - a headscarf imposed on the head and shoulders during prayer. The atarah was decorated with raised embroidery with a motif of stylized rosettes and geometric patterns. Preservation condition: visible losses of silver thread.
