Pair of glass platters on silver bases

sterling silver (800) (Austro-Hungarian hallmark with head of Diana and letter A of the Vienna Assay Office); weight of bases alone 619 g; height 22 cm, diameter of foot 15 cm; transparent glass, ruby, gilt; 28.5 x 25.5 x 25.5 cm.
Austro-Hungarian, Vienna, late 19th century; Czech glassware (matched).
The bases in the form of conical columns decorated in the upper part with a lacing of oak leaves and acorns and a superimposed cartouche with a coat of arms under a nobleman's crown; at the bottom, large circular feet banded with stylized leafy vicia, arched and decorated with radially arranged narrow leaves.
The platters are shallow, cup-shaped, with a curved wide edge, azure ruby and decorated with hand-painted gold floral decoration.
