Cracow, 1st quarter of the 20th century.
Oval with a smooth collar framed by a half-shaft, in the mirror decorated with an engraved scene depicting a woman sitting in a boat drifting among reeds and calamus with two children, one of them she is holding on her lap, and an older boy leaning over the side is trying to touch the water with a stick; in the background one can see buildings; around the scene a wide border of flowers, shells and channels filled with a slanting grid.
