sterling silver and 4 hallmarked (on 11 forks - Malcz, 12, in Warsaw - in ovals, on 1 fork - 12 and W. Knara - in rectangle, on spoons - Malcz, anchor, 12 - in ovals, on knives - Malcz , 12 - heavily rubbed, on 7 spoons the hallmark of the Vienna Assay Office with letter A, sample 13 and year 1866, on 2 spoons the goldsmith's monogram W.K in a rectangle, sample 12 in a circle, and the hallmark of the Vienna Assay Office with Diana's head, sample 4 and letter E), hallmarked steel (on 11 knives GERLACH / W WARSZAWIE, on 1 knife SCHULER / W WARSZAWIE); weight 2.112 g (without knives).
Warsaw, Cracow and Vienna, ca. 1850, 1860s and 1866
Fork and spoon handles lance-shaped, bent at ends; knife handles faceted, dovetailed, steel blades; teaspoon handles widening, rounded at ends. Some of the cutlery matched. On all handles applied four-leaf reserve with Korwin coat of arms in cartouche with motto.
