dimensions: 29.6 x 24.6 cm (standing rectangle); at the bottom of the relief bust hand engraved under the glaze: R. Siemering.
Plaque with the right profile of an old, bearded man wearing a fur headdress. The portrait is of a portrait character, held in gray-beige tones, on a dark blue-green background.
The signature indicates Rudolf Siemering (1835-1905), German sculptor, representative of the 19th century Berlin School of Sculpture, graduate of the School of Arts and Crafts in Königsberg and the Academy in Berlin, pupil of Christian Daniel Rauch (1777-1857). Known as the author of monuments and busts of historical figures.
