Seated on a rock is a nude figure with a headband in her hair, wearing a folded cloak flowing down from her shoulders, playing a double flute - aulos. In front of her is a small figure of a seated winged Cupid, with a bow in his right hand. Signature on the elongated base: "G. Obiols"; on the opposite side: circular foundry guarantee stamp: "SOCIÉTÉ DES BRONZES DE PARIS". The whole on a rectangular plinth with chamfered corners - of pink and white marble.
Sculptor of Spanish origin, active in Paris in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
