Figure of Mercury - a naked young man with wings at his ankles, wearing a hat also bearing wings - supported with one foot on the head of Zephyr - a wind god with puffed-out cheeks; his breath carries the messenger of the gods floating in the air. The right hand is raised upwards, in the left hand - a caduceus - a staff entwined with snakes, with a pair of wings in the finial. Stone pedestal, cylindrical, supported on a square plinth.
Reduction of the famous late Renaissance, actually already Mannerist sculpture, the original of which can be admired in Florence, at the Museo Nazionale del Bargello.
