Prussia, 17th/18th century.
Oval-shaped painting, with a portrait of a man in a white wig with abundant curls, facing right in profile. Black background, semi-curved border. On the back the text of a Latin inscription dedicated to the memory of Mr. Christian Friedrich de Koch et Ludwigsdorff, born December 11, 1654 [near Gorlitz]. Preservation condition: numerous chipping of polychrome.
