Figure of a young man, standing with a slight stoop, wearing a hat, cubicle, pants and high-topped shoes, supporting a musical instrument - a bagpipe - under his left arm.
Signature on circular base: " A. Moreau - Vauthier" and the circular seal of the foundry: "THIÉBAUT FRERES FONDEURS PARIS".
One of the most taken French foundries; many Parisian monuments were created in its workshops ( including the equestrian statue of Joan of Arc, the monument to Charlemagne, the Triumph of the Republic).
