The table was made contemporaneously by the firm Conservator Stanislaw Czepiec in Krakow, according to a 1941 design by Erik Johansson, known as "Klot-Johan", a Swedish artist, furniture designer, and painter. The table was originally designed for the Swedish furniture factory Reiners Möbelfabrik in Mjölby.
