Miniature with a portrait of Tadeusz Kosciuszko

gouache, bone; oval - clear dimension 9 x 6.8 cm; silver frame with panoply 20 x 16.5 cm;
the whole in a deep, profiled wooden frame, gilded - dimensions: 28.5 x 24.5 x 4.9 cm.

Oval portrait of Kosciuszko framed by a rectangular silver frame: on the sides superimposed two inscripts each crossed with scythes on an upright; also overlays: under the upper edge a pair of oval shields with a crowned eagle, between them on a recumbent radial oval a shield with the inscription: "POWER / IN / UNITY," framed by branches of laurel and oak. Above the lower edge of the frame in the center a cartouche with an eagle without a crown on crossed sabers and a shield with the date: "1794". On the sides ovals with crowned eagles supported on sabers, with shields on which the dates of the uprisings: "1831" i "1863".
On the back an engraved dedication: "Souvenir of the 100th anniversary of the Kosciuszko Uprising / To Adam J. Baczewski. Lviv 1894."
Attached is a certificate of examination from the probation office.
