Poland, 1917 (modernized)
Steel head, squared, narrow armor, extending to the hilt. Brass, bowed, back shoulder with a teardrop. Handle shaft wooden, in heavily rubbed leather; unpreserved filigree wire braid. Head with brass cap in the form of a rosette. Cap of brass plate with embossed crowned eagle on amazon shield, with long braid. Sabers of this pattern were withdrawn after the introduction of the wz. 21/22, and after trimming the original hilt caps were transferred to the National Police. Completely original pieces from the territory of the former Republic of Poland (near Zhovkva).
