wood, steel, brass; overall length 23 cm; barrel length with braid 21 cm.
England, ca. mid-19th century.
Steel barrels, round, smooth; numbers stamped on barrels and at lock: "60" and marks with the letter "U" under the crown; mark "R" in oval. Piston box lock, with two taps and two trigger tongues in a wide steel casing. The flask is short, smooth, walnut, with a ball end.
