Perpendicular cuboid, with opening lid, the body decorated with cannelled pilasters, and additionally on its front a relief decoration imitating corrugated fabric, supported on skids. The lid on the rim and the lower part of the body covered with a profiled moulding. On the lid decorative, wave-cut steel strap hinges, and on the sides rounded handles on square signs, also wave-cut. The front is divided by pilasters into two fields, and in them relief panels, the surface of which is composed of tubular forms, resembling wrinkled fabric. Between the skids on the front a wavy strip - an apron.
The form and decoration of the chest is reminiscent of medieval furniture, which became popular again during the historicist period.
