Northern Europe, 19th and 17th centuries.
With straight sides and front, with set aside lid and front decorated with relief decoration, supported on skids, with tin lock sign and wrought iron handles on sides. Decorative front with pilasters on the sides and bordering at the top, divided by two arcades, between which a decorative belt, filled with geometric and floral ornaments, with pairs of stylized coat of arms shields inside the arcades. On the front , between the wave-cut skids, a profiled apron, cut at the bottom in arches and zigzags. The sides and lid without decoration, planked. Inside the body of the chest, belt hinges and an exemplary lock.
The chest was built in the 19th century on the pattern of Northern European Renaissance style furniture, using 17th century furniture boards, used as the front of the chest and its bottom.
