Patinated and gilded bronze, 53 cm wide; 45 cm high.
France, Paris, Rue Vieille du Temple and Rue Saintonge, after mid-19th century.
Base on a plan of an elongated oval, on volute legs hiding in an openworked lower part with floral vortices and flowers; above, a cannelled concave profile with a white enameled dial in the center, with Roman hour division and Arabic minute division; inscription at the top: "RAINGO Fres"; below: "A Paris". In the finial, the figure of a seated young woman in airy robes, leaning against a rock with her right hand; a hat lying next to her.
Pendulum attached; key missing.
