PACYKOV - Aleksander Levitsky's Faience and Terracotta Factory, Bust of two Hutsuls

Terracotta clay (light), ceramic paints semi-matte and matte (complexion),
a few minor glaze losses on the hair and on the back near the base;
height 25 cm, width approx. 30 cm, depth approx. 10 cm;
From the front left - at the base - engraved under the glaze: Levi(c?)ki, on the back in the right corner imprint: TRADE MARK/ MADE IN AUSTRIA, below - imprinted in relief a shield with the Rogal coat of arms with a jewel and an inscription around it: POLOGNE PACYKÓW / ST. (GALICIE? - imprint illegible), below the shield engraved in clay: 110/10/...?;
Poland (Galicia), Pacyków, faience factory of Aleksander (Rogala)-Lewicki, early 20th century. (ca. 1912-1918),
signed on the front with the name of the sculptor (Lewicki) - author of the model.
Bust (wall-mounted) of two girls, huddled cheek-to-cheek, wearing hemmed, embroidered serdaki-jackets and flat headgear, superimposed on smoothly combed hair with parting. Glazed in brownish-rust tones, the back panel plain.
