Standing on a low, circular base (propped against a low trunk) is a smiling peasant woman with long braids, wearing a slightly flared dress with a corset and a casual pose, with her head turned to the side. On her right hip she supports a wicker oval basket; on the left a goat climbs on the girl, leaning with its front hooves against her leg. Sculpture in the style of ceramics of the Viennese Friedrich Goldscheider factory of the late 19th century.
