light terracotta clay (modeled by hand), semi-matte ceramic paints (in shades of brown - with braun amber glaze? and beige-complexioned parts, cold ?), small chip at edge of base- trace of technological crack from underneath; height ca.57 cm, base 22 x 23,5 cm; engraved signature on side of base: under hoof of goat: in triangle P, below imprints: 940/4, behind the trunk: 3/2 .

Standing on a low, circular base (propped against a low trunk) is a smiling peasant woman with long braids, wearing a slightly flared dress with a corset and a casual pose, with her head turned to the side. On her right hip she supports a wicker oval basket; on the left a goat climbs on the girl, leaning with its front hooves against her leg. Sculpture in the style of ceramics of the Viennese Friedrich Goldscheider factory of the late 19th century.
