porcelain, enamel paints; height 14 cm, base (oval skirt outline) 10 x 7.4 cm;
on base gilded inscription: "Hand-painted" and three dots; stamped in black: "Price / zl 180".
Poland, porcelain factory in Ćmielów (?), design: Bogumił Marcinek from 1932, postwar period, 20th century.
Figure of a young peasant woman wearing a skirt of colorful stripes, a floral kerchief tied back, an embroidered black serape, with her hands tucked under a stocking. No signatures of Ćmielów, but features of the model and markings point to this factory (or a repetition outside the factory?).
