France, 2nd half of 19th century.
Base of bronze, circular, profiled and mottled; pedestal cylindrical, turned gray marble. Shaft in the form of a figure of a man with Mongolian features, wearing a sharawar and a cloak over his shoulders, holding with both hands a branch of gilded bronze, forking into three arms of the candlestick ending in cylindrical sleeves.
Preserved condition: 1 arm repaired and three holes in the pedestal.
