Inkwell - probably part of a desk set. Supported on 4 ball-and-socket feet; circular in plan, with 8 recesses; stem with 8 vertical concaves; inside originally a cylindrical glass ink cartridge; pointed, 8-branched lid, ending in a ball.
Circle-shaped vessel, with indentations for laying eggs, in the center a container with a domed lid (no glass insert).
